A Nourson does not overcomplicate things. I believe the best games are those that respect the player: no predatory systems, no pay-to-win, no artificially gated content. Just a complete, well-thought-out game made to last. Pixel art is not a constraint : it is an expressive visual language that allows you to create unique atmospheres with limited means.
